Saint Citrus is a conceptual series exploring the pull of the creative consciousness and unfulfilled potential. In surreal photographs set against blue velvet, oranges play the understudies of creative potential. The artist is presented with a gift and a choice. While only revealing her hand, Saint Citrus waits to see if the offering is taken or left to rot. All oranges were donated to a food shelter after the shoot. The briefcase is still hard at work.
