Le Coucou for New Years
Le Coucou for New Years
I’ve shot for Starr Restaurants in the past and always had a great experience. When Starr asked if I could photograph Le Coucou leading up to their New Years Eve party, I said “I’m already here.” Beverage Director Charles Puglia brought out the Nebuchadnezzar-sized bottle of Drappier Champagne in a large wooden crate, which took multiple staff to help retrieve. Favorite shot here is definitely the long exposure of the bartender, getting some motion combined with the largest Champagne bottle I’ve ever seen. From the gorgeous bar in the front when you first walk in, to those windows, to the food itself, Le Coucou makes me wish I spoke French. Here are just a couple photos of Le Coucou.
One of these photos can be found in the series Commercial.
