I’ve visited Los Angeles countless times, I've even lived there for a bit. At no point did I ever make it to The Huntington Library / Botanical Garden / Museum before. Shame. Just look at everything it is in the name of it. How have I not gone? I finally did and it was incredible.
Started in the desert garden, then koi pond, then Japanese garden and Chinese garden. The green house atrium was closed. Spent a few hours there and still felt like I missed more than half of the grounds. I would recommend bringing water; I would not recommend walking the 130 acres with a broken foot.
